「This is one of the oldest hotels left in Ocean City. It's an aging classy lady that we all know and love. The room was Bayside, small queen but it was meticulous and adequate. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. But we came for the stunning views and the small private beach where you can relax or even fish or just sit for hours and watch the boats pass through the inlet. 「The building is old. With that said, it was newly painted. The bathroom was clean and bright. There is a residual musty smell, but I sprayed with Lysol spray and that helped. There was no staff in the building itself. The staff at the neighboring sister hotel was very helpful and friendly on arrival. The morning staff at departure was very tired and did not come to check me out until a second tenant arrived for his check out. The coffee cups available in that lobby did not have caps that...

「Ants in the room. Shower curtain was half the size it needed to be. Mini blinds broken so anyone can look in the room. Overall dirty but cheap. Can't really complain bc the price. You get what you pay for.」

「My husband had to slam his shoulder into open our door to our room. The manager came over and had to do the same and said he knew about it. The microwave had rust in it. The blinds to the bathroom were broken and people walking outside could s the us in the bathroom. Said offered hair dryer and there was none. Rust in the bathroom and mold in the shower. Very noisy. Beds were very comfortable. 」

「The property needs major updating. The front door had an almost 1 inch gap on one side to about 1/4 inch. And was very difficult to close.The plumbing was rough! No cold water whatsoever, only very hot water which made it difficult to take a shower. It also seemed as though the employees could care less about anything. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.」
