This hotel is absolutely worth recommending! The environment is excellent, with clean and well-maintained rooms. The design is simple yet comfortable, making it a very relaxing stay. The service was also outstanding – staff were polite, helpful, and attentive, whether it was during check-in or answering our questions. The location is very convenient as well, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and easy access to transportation. The Fairfield by Marriott in Aso is a very comfortable hotel like the Fairfield in Nikko where my wife and I staid before. The rooms are clean, modern and with a lot of light coming in through a big window; comfortable enough that on a rainy day we decided to stay in the room almost all day. Personnel at the reception is very friendly and helpful.The restaurant selection in the area is not the greatest but there is a Lawson Station shop nearby. Additionally the hotel offers free coffee, tea etc. and sells some food items which can be heated in microwaves if necessary. The Fairfield is located near the local train station and has sufficient parking space if you come by car.
