「I booked this cottage at fairly short notice We were attending an event nearby and so booked only one night but it is beautifully situated and the cottage was very nice, so I would happily have stayed longer. 「This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. Comms were great and Steve showed us around, sharing local history and top tips for our trip. Canal side walks were glorious. A magical stay.」

「What a beautiful place, with beautiful people and animals」

「I had a lovely overnight stay in the wel presented Willow Lodge. The room was immaculate and had some lovely touches from the owners. The location is stunning, you will not be disappointed. Slightly disappointing for me was the price for the electric vehicle charging. But would not be put off booking again..」

「Charming pub with spacious accommodation ideal for Penine Way walkers. This traditional hostelry, popular with both locals and visitors, has a great range of well kept ales and hearty meals. Also dog friendly : ) Note that breakfast is not provided but the accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen.」

「Clean property in good location」

「So so. Not much privacy. Wrongly listed - free parking ... parking was free but on road side, not within the premises of the property. 2 flats built in the back yards of a house. You go through the front yard of the house. Kitchen and another room of the house facing the flats.」
