Mary and John could not be nicer, friendlier, and accommodating hosts. They went over and above what is expected from a host of a bed and breakfast. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, roomy and had a beautiful newly remodeled private bath. The breakfasts were delicious and presented in a cute country basket that you could either take and enjoy on the backyard deck overlooking the beautiful garden or take across the street and enjoy in the park. The whole house is decorated...

The character of this 148 year old B&B is awesome. Kym, the innkeeper, was fabulous...we had an awesome time hanging out on the porch relaxing and conversing. Breakfast was excellent. We don't back track often, but will definitely go back to visit.

Staff were very friendly, very clean and you could go hiking out your front door.

Superb room and facilities. Marvelous staff too. I love this place. A rare gem.

What a cozy respite for a weary traveler! Angus welcomed me and showed me my room and the amenities. The great room with the wood stove and coffee/tear bar was a fantastic place to relax. The room was clean with everything I needed. The location is off the highway and very quiet but still close to the port.

The restaurant is excellent - we loved our Canadian beef tenderloin with walnuts and blue cheese. The wine selection was reasonable with a wide range. The Little Inn is quaint and charming.

initial problem with reservation, had requested 2 queen beds but room had 1 queen and a pull out. not what we had reserved on expedia. no other rooms were available. hotel did compensate us with 3 complementary breakfasts for the mix-up.

Very clean, with an old retro feel. Did not use the pool or hot tub. Staff was excellent. Only thing I would say is I wish the hours (pool and staff) were a little later

Very quiet despite being right beside the highway. Easy walking distance to The Square. The kitchenette was a pleasant surprise

Its a nice quiet place with nice amenities. Price was great compared to others.

Spacious room size. Wonderful owners!

Great stay!

This was our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. Always a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The food in the restaurant is exceptional! The staff is awesome as well.

We went to the ashwood on a whim and were nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. We were very, very pleased with the stay and the wonderful staff. We arrived later than expected {after the front desk closed} and the Inn keeper was willing to put our key somewhere for us to get after hours and we could check in the following morning.

The property is family run of modest accommodations. There is a kitchenette with a full set of dishes, cookware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove top and refrigerator. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and well maintained. It is located a few miles from town and the construction. Even though it is on the main road, it was relatively quiet. Convenient location.

The pillows and bed were comfortable and the AC worked well. The room and property were clean and we enjoyed the fire pit on site. We didn’t get a chance to use the grills or pool but both areas looked clean as far as I could tell. There were plenty of hangers and there was a fridge and microwave and a full length mirror. There were no unpleasant odors to worry about and the staff was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect and it was easy to find. Only downside was what appeared to be a...
