「The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.」

「We paid $330 a night. The reviews make this place seem nice. No elevator meaning we had to lug our suitcases up a flight of stairs, wall air conditioning barely worked it became extremely hot in the middle of the night, no iron, free breakfast was cereal and oatmeal, there was no staff to call after 10 PM, and when we checked out no one again to talk to. Seriously, we paid less to stay in way better hotels in Telluride, Aspen, and Manitou Springs. Don’t stay here?」

「What a great location for exploring Salida, right on the river, just off F street. An unusual location on the second story of an historic building (only for those able and willing to climb the stairs to the units.) The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the balcony looking over the river is a great place to enjoy the views. Good AC, and quiet. We feel so lucky we found this mini hotel which is run like an Airbnb. Easy to contact the manager who is very helpful.」

「Stayed here as we were in town for a festival. Served its purpose and was relatively clean but outdated. Hot tub was a disappointment as the jets didn’t work and maintenance couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Also the enclosure around the hot tub is in poor shape and needs to be removed as it is broken down and was moving quite a bit due to the wind」

「They made sure to message us about latest possible arrival times so that we didn’t show up too late. Provided a phone number to call about our eta. All was good at this place, and old-timers will enjoy the decor and look.」

「We stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend. We are so grateful to have found this place! It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Our 2 dogs were welcomed with a low nightly pet fee! The hot tub was amazing. We will definitely be back!」

「The air conditioner was rattling and very loud. There was something above the bathroom ceiling that sounded like water running that never shut off. When we came down at 8:30 to get breakfast and checkout there was no coffee in the breakfast area or lobby and they were out of eggs and waffle batter. The pool and hot tub were great and our room was very clean.」

「The room could have been a little cleaner. The breakfast didn’t have a ton but was able to hold us over until we got food elsewhere. The entrance/side entrance was a bit of a walk. Dog friendly! Had a mini fridge and microwave in the double queen rooms.」
