"Nice access to ocean front walking and lounging, nearby restaurant great to eat at. Did not understand the parking fee when not gated and sign then says park at own risk. Window screen coming off window, so wasn't fully at ease as solo traveler. Specifically ask for ocean view room instead of random selection."

"The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the $15 per night parking fee and the Apple Farm restaurant. The Inn was clean, the staff was exceptional, and the room was very comfortable. We have been looking forward to coming back for a while to the Apple Farm, and the Inn did not disappoint. The restaurant used to be very good, but not any more. This time the restaurant was not very crowded, the service was lacking, the food was mediocre, and a couple in our party didn’t feel very good after eating there… It’s sad, but something needs to change in the food side of the property and get it back up to the standard that they had in prior years. We would probably go back to the Apple Farm Inn, but why not just add a little to the room costs instead of putting on a hidden charge for parking? They could do better on that. Overall, still a great option in SLO, and a very convenient location."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pillowcases did have stains on them and when asked if they can be changed out, they were very helpful and changed them for us. Breakfast was great, as always. Our only real complaint is that they put us in an adjoining room with a family we don't know and they were loud at night and in the morning."
