"The staff and management did their best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, they are very helpful and friendly. They were fantastic on the last day - helping us out immensely. The garden villas are a bit dated but very comfortable and clean, the grounds are beautiful, great snorkeling across the road from the complex. Roosters took a bit of getting used to!"

"Fantastic location, great beach out front. It's an adults only facility. Tropical breakfast included and shuttles to and from airport (need to pay). It's close to airport and bus stops right outside. Rooms are fully equipped if you want to cook anything. Two great swimming pools, happy hour, staff wonderful and helpful with booking various things like transport. There is a small store, alcohol shop and bakery very close if you need supplies or town is a very short bus ride away for a bigger...

"Very good. Many positives. Not cheap but worth the extra $ to have a beach view room imo. Nice people running and operating it. all very friendly and relaxed. The biggest and easiest improvement would be to upgrade breakfast. It's a very basic continental and could be so much better with some small improvements. The office closes early as well and whilst you have the owner's number if you need anything you tend not to want to disturb him (or at least I didnt) for general info etc."

"My family stayed here for a week and we couldn't be more impressed by our host Paul and his fabulous seaside apartments. The guests ranged from single travellers, couples to families, and The Black Pearl was perfect for all. The rooms were spacious and well stocked, and we were pleasantly surprised with a prepaid local telephone for each unit to use. The location was perfect, with a beautiful beach across the road and a short distance to great snorkelling. There was a small food store next door...

"Its quite dated now for the price you pay. Bed is 2 singles together & you feel the join & its not a comfortable bed. The phone is hopeless due to service/static so was hopeless trying to order room service or ringing reception. Justbso you are aware The menu/food not the best & when its theme nights you cant order anything else except off the snack menu so not good if you have no transport to go elsewhere.I only stay here if i travel on my own due to having a private pool room otherwise we stay...

Massive thank you to Peter & Apii (fiona) who were so amazing with all our kids allowing them to be amoungst the activities hut whenever they wanted too and treating us all like family.
