Beautiful location and so handy for race weekend at Calabogie Motorsports park. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Room was showing its age but great for a quiet place to crash 9 minutes from the race track.
The room was clean and had a wonderful lake view. The only disappointment was the smell of the water when taking a shower , the sulphur well smell was very strong .
Cable TV subscription was not enabled. Room was clean and had a very nice and large bathroom. Mini fridge, coffee machine, and microwave oven were nice to have. Very quiet environment and respectful customers. Hotel sits next to golf course. Staff were very helpful and accommodating to move my 2-night stay by one day, and provide arrangements for late check-in while helpdesk was closed.
Buildings are not new, but they are like appartmemts with full kitchen and a huge patio. The 2 single beds were a bit surprising but being tall, they were at least long enough. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Calabogie is a very beautiful area.

A little dated. Room was small but excellent location, next to the first tee box, with a balcony.
Water pressure was a little low.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
One bedroom suite with full kitchen. No mattress pad under sheets (yuck) and poor bedding; drapes don’t fully close (too short, too narrow); shower curtain missing rings. Rest of decor was dated but clean. Exterior needs paint and gardens need tending. Golf course is great and obviously the priority!

Disliked: Amenities
The place is expensive for what it offers, it is facing a nice lake and has impressive surroundings, very relaxing. The room is very very ordinary, with very low-end quality room features including a shower, sinks etc...almost like a winter lodge. The reception was closed when I arrived @ 6:30 pm but I did get a courteous call in the afternoon to help me check in.
My boyfriend and I stayed one night while exploring the area, hiking, and visiting the caves. We arrived late, and the front desk staff were fantastic. I called ahead to let them know we would be checking in after hours, and they reassured us it wouldn’t be an issue. They provided clear instructions for accessing our room and included a map of the town with local points of interest in our welcome package, which was a nice touch.
The room was a good size and a little dated, but that didn’t bother us. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, it had everything we needed for a short stay. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness seemed to be lacking in some areas. After dropping my hairbrush under the bed, I noticed it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned underneath in quite some time. Also visible dust bunnies on the blinds, around the dresser, and in corners of the room. One of the main reasons we booked this room was for the jacuzzi tub after a long day of hiking. Unfortunately, when we went to use it, we found a large number of dead flies on the bathroom windowsill. The bathwater also had a strong sulphur smell and appeared grey in colour. While the water started out hot, by the time the tub was half full it was only lukewarm, so we decided not to use it.
The resort was surprisingly quiet for a long weekend. When we arrived, ours was the only vehicle in the parking lot. Overall the staff were excellent, but the cleanliness issues and unusable jacuzzi were disappointing.
Very friendly staff from Pro Shop, Administration and cleaning staff.
Jo-Ann, Andrea and Pro Shop very accommodating for special requests.
We plan on holiday if there again soon!

There is only a 2 hour check in window, between 4pm and 6pm. After that, if youre flight was delayed, or traffic issues happen, you won't find anyone and you can't check in. Nobody answers the phones.
This was, to me, completely unacceptable, and now im out $325 because I was 17 minutes late due to a flight delay. Not cool. Not professional. Just very amateur. And greasy. Very greasy.
The property is terribly lit. There was no light outside of our little complex and no light in the stairwells.
There was no place to hang your clothes and no bedside tables to lay your things on. Also, there was a coffee maker with coffee and tea, but no mugs, cups or glasses to drink from.
Lots of dust under the bed
