「Loved the rustic charm this hotel has to offer, the staff was communicative from the time I booked to check in and afterwards too. Room was clean and spacious for 3 people. Location is perfect and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. 」

「The property was exactly as described! It’s in a perfect location, walkable to almost everything! Great space & amazing patio. The hosts were accessible and accommodating. There are 5-6 flights of stairs as advertised. They are no joke with heavy luggage but I promise the climb is worth it 」

「Pros: Beautiful 15th century estate, renovated in most parts, nice staff, beautiful garden and outdoor pool, comfy beds, spacious bathroom. Many spots to relax by tall trees and enjoy the garden. All doors have security codes and the whole area feels very safe. Cons: Presence of Spiders and Mosquitos as expected from an estate in the middle of a garden, the restaurant needs a booking in advance and you can not just show up and that is understandable too, breakfast is good but not many options. 」

「Very large three person room. Outstanding location in the city center. Easy to walk to both train stations. Outstanding restaurant and bar options nearby and right by the lake. Yaiza Is an amazing hostess with perfect food, bar and travel recommendations. We loved Bar Hemingway (amazing bar and apps) and pizza at Donnarumma. Highly recommend Alessia’s Place!!」

「The hotel staff and room were extremely nice. If you are going to Lake Como, then you have to take a bus outside of the hotel for 10-15 minutes to get there but other than that it was a great hotel!」
