"Hotel in front of Arena Monterrey, used by schooltrips so there are lots of kids and teenagers. Reception is crowded and busy, rooms are very basic. Not terrible but I would reconsider another hotel unless you are going to the Arena."

"My wife and I would walk to parque fundidora and there’s a delicious taqueria right next to the hotel. Everything was clean and the shower was huge even with a little bench in it. "

"Absolutely phenomenal "feel" to the property. Lobby, common areas, rooms all have charm. Friendly and rapidly helpful staff. Perfect location for Barrio Antiguo, Santa Lucia, rest of Centro. Clean. Comfortable. However, internet speed quite sporadic and toilet paper holder awkward (obviously a very minor quibble). Nevertheless, beyond impressive."

"The room was spotless and spacious. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The desk was very attentive—we needed a walk-in shower and our first room didn’t have one. They moved us within minutes. Great location—walking distance to the Macroplaza and museums. It’s an old, elegant hotel in the center of the Barrio Antiguo. I’ll happily go back. "

"This beautiful hostel with many renovated rooms, outdoor courtyard, colorful walls is so lovely! I could have stayed anywhere but the images I saw called to me and the reality did not disappoint! I hope the owners continue to monitor the viability of the mattresses snd perhaps offer a better cup of coffee. But the rainfall showers and hot water, coupled with the ambiance makes it is easy to recommend. Oh, and did I mention- this is the center of El Barrio Antiguo! Trece Lunas restaurant and...
