「Location, location location. An historic place, located in a peninsula ((guess it was an island before), very close to the beach promenade. Luscious grounds and breathtaking views of the bay. The views from our window were spectacular. Hotel is well kept. Staff is professional and corteous, a little dry on the front desk, but not so at the restaurant and bar, where the staff was always smiling and helpful. Very refreshing. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with gorgeous views....

「The place is at edge of town. Kinda dated design. Had booked it to relax in pool after long day of walking, however the pool was full of young children! Nothing against children, just not what I expected. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.」

「Hotel Resturante Ruas is a lovely hotel with superior guest service. Our room was spotless and easily accessible. The hotel's location cannot be beat for centrality and usefulness for the Camino. Its restaurant and cafeteria ensure you have easy access to good meals. And the location puts you next to all kinds of restaurants, shops, and churches. The accommodations are simple, but they are clean and there is air conditioning. I would not hesitate to stay here again.」

「The hotel location is great, a few minutes away from the beach. The reception staff gave a friendly and helpful welcome. I was there for an overnight stay so can only comment on the room. I was in a triple room with no view. The room was dated with bedding that had seen better days. Noise travelled easily through the walls and overall it was not the best night's sleep.」

「Nicely maintained grounds. Gardens make it a nice surrounding. Available pool needs algae control. Water was clear, but algae spots could bee seen across both adults and kids pools. Rooms are a little tired, but clean and nice. It is a good rural hotel for the price. Location is away from downtown pontevedra, but right on el Camino, so it is a good space to stop. It is on top of a hill, so you will need extra legs for the final stretch.」
