Pineapple Beach Club Antigua - Adults Only – All Inclusive

"Great Anniversary Trip! My husband and I have been to several all inclusive resorts and we really enjoyed this one and would recommend. A few things to know about the resort before you book. We were a little confused about the different room categories. Garden is exactly what you would expect. Ocean/Beach view is a room that is on the side of the property where there is not a beach but a rocky shore. The beach front rooms were the best as it was quiet but close to everything, was truly beach front. I did not see any rooms where stairs went from the second story balcony straight out the beach as pictured. We didn't care about that at all but want people to know if that's important to you. Frankly I would either save money and get a garden room, or go for the beach front. There are US outlets in the rooms so you do not need a converter or adapter even for your curling iron or flat iron. The food was good but there are not the restaurant choices a larger resort can offer. However, fewer restaurants were worth the intimate feel and a nice change of pace for us. They have a buffet that is the main restaurant, an Italian that was good and open most nights, and a seafood open one night we were there. Dress can be casual or a sundress if you prefer. We did two excursions through the resort. The shopping trip can be skipped but do not miss stingray city. Fantastic and very responsibly priced! This resort is very laid back and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for!"
Jolly Beach Antigua - All-inclusive

"I arrived as part of a group of about 25 persons. The check-in process was chaotic and it seems that the Front Desk did not adequately resourced itself to efficiently deal with new arrivals. There is really no excuse for this, since they would have had prior notice of arrivals. The property is a dated and it was evident that they working to maintain and improve the looks. My room was the standard one. I loved the location just north of the Front Desk. However, the AC was leaking, there was a leak under the sink, possibly one of the flex hoses. The BEST part of the stay was the FOOD. Absolutely outstanding food at all three meals. Great variety of choice, well prepared stuff and sufficient in quantity and quality. Given that Antigua is the home of black pineapple, the servings were substandard but mangoes more than compensated for that lack. One MAJOR missing dessert was Ice Cream!! Imagine no ice cream. The property needs an Ice Cream dispensing machine so it can be available 24/7. The beach was outstanding. The sand and sea were world class. Greatest risk of staying at the hotel: You will gain a kilogram or two."

"The hotel has a wonderful and unique location on a little peninsula that overlooks gorgeous waters of Jolly and Valley Church Beaches. I love the authentic grounds that is not luxurious. Food was amazing, drinks were great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Best vacation we had in the Caribbean. Best waters, best hotel, best food. We all loved the open shower in our cabin. The night entertainment was all nice and unique. Overall a very nice and relaxing vacation with our adult children. I would definitely want to go back."

"Staff very welcoming especially Melissa at reception and the security/Porter staff. Ocean view room was clean, lovely view. Dinner and breakfast was quite tasty. Unfortunately, experience was hampered by the large number of cats that literally took over the dining area! It made for quite an uncomfortable experience and for someone who is allergic to cats - it was not a pleasant experience. Sadly, had I known prior about these cats I wouldn’t have booked this hotel - albeit everything else was fine."

"The escape was as peaceful and relaxing as advertised. The rooms were very private, and we loved the en-suite pool. Since the property is quite secluded, it’s ideal for couples looking to unwind rather than for those seeking nightlife or lots of activities. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and they can help arrange tours and excursions for you. We rented a car and enjoyed exploring Antigua on our own as well. Bring bug repellent, especially for the evenings. The food was excellent. Portions are on the smaller side, but the staff are happy to bring a second serving. Loved the fruity drinks. Overall, a wonderful couples-only getaway exactly as described."
