I would like to give this property more stars but there were too many problems. My biggest gripe is the price I paid to be there and was restricted in the places I could dine at. My other issue was the fact they tried to upgrade my room but it really was a downgrade. I paid for ocean view and was given a garden view room and told that I could dine at "diamond club" restaurants despite the fact that I was given a regular resort band. The only thing that save this resort from getting two stars is the staff! Most of them were really nice and always spoke. I do understand that the resort just opened and that there will be some growing pains but I just wish I had a better experience considering how I had to fight for almost three hours to get into my room.

We had an amazing mother daughter trip at the Royalton Chic Antigua at the end of May. WOW! What a place. The staff are all incredibly friendly and we were impressed by the caliber of the resort considering that it opened just a few weeks ago. There were plenty of restaurant options and we were happy with the food. The VIBE team, Bartenders and CHIC dancers were so talented and SO MUCH FUN! The foam pool party Saturday afternoon was epic! Everyone from the front desk staff to the bell boys, room attendants and maintenance workers were so kind. A special shout out to ELVIS, our personal trainer and water aerobics instructor, who inspired us to exercise daily and have a heck of a lot of fun while doing so. He is amazing and the gym equipment is top notch. This was one of the highlights of our stay. Keep up the good work everyone!

I was supposed to get a luxury pool view room, however, I got a beautiful lush garden room that was great for photos. Dining was great. I ordered room service for breakfast and there was plenty of options. The Italian restaurant, Hunter steakhouse and Haven (Caribbean food) was amazing. Vernan who is in charge of the Royalton excursions was so helpful. He taught me how to swim and assisted me with kayaking. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and cannot wait to return. This is a new resort so please have patience with staff.
