「I booked the hotel because I had an early morning flight. It offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport. The hotel is quite new (2-3 months?) and the shuttle was not set up yet. So I had to use a taxi which was not cheap.」

The room was a little cold, the bed a little hard - an extra blanket would have been nice as well as soap for the shower - but I could have asked for these things and I am sure my requests would have been happily tended to. 「Our stay at Appart Hotel Spa Perpignan was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Our room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, and even had an awesome large-screen projection TV with “idiot-proof” operating instructions (thanks for that y’all). 「Wonderful location for exploring the local countryside. Biking and hiking seem to have become immensely popular in recent years. A car for me would have been helpful but I needed a rest and the peaceful scented garden was truly heavenly. Lovely old furniture, healthy breakfasts,near the railway station.
