"Casa muy amplia con jardin. Familia acogedora y simpática que se esfuerza por el bienestar. Ofrecen desayunos caseros, solo dulces. Sugerencia: añadir algo salado (queso, jamón o embutido de la zona). Habitación muy amplia, aunque sin aire acondicionado, que afortunadamente no necesitamos porque los días que estuvimos bajó la ola de calor. Tranquilidad absoluta."

"Beautifully refurbished, good service. Self check in was easy. Nice feel to the building and the town. Breakfast was at a restaurant nearby, less than 5 minutes walk. "

"Lovely! Would stay again despite that it is doesn’t offer the usual services you expect from a full hotel. I guess this is simply down to cost paring. They must have got a huge architect bill to build this and which went well over budget and they are cutting services to save cash. Not great for guests."

"This is a great hotel/ town to get a taste of the French Riviera. We used it as a base to go into Collioure. The pool and pool bar was solid. The views were great. The nearby town is solid. And Collioure is only a 10 min taxi away. The hotel is probably nicer than any hotel in Collioure that we saw. "

"Excellent food both at breakfast and in the lovely restaurant. Both rooms have incredible sea views which we greatly appreciated. The spa and the outdoor therapy pool were nicely appointed. Our massages were arranged on our arrival and were perfect. We were there on cool overcast days so we didn’t take advantage of the beach directly across from the hotel. But it was tempting. They made us and our dogs welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay at La Elmes. "

"A present surprise in a quite residential area but just a short walk into the small beautiful old town. We enjoyed a beer at a bar in the town square before walking back to the Hotel for Dinner. Charming restaurant with very nice food and a super helpful waiter who spoke excellent English and made us very welcome. Breakfast was simple but adequate. We were touring on motorbikes and felt they were safe, it’s right on the ACT route. Would stay here again if in the area. The photos show the old...

"Notre séjour d'une nuit, dans ce lieu que nous découvrions pour la première fois, à l'occasion de l'anniversaire de mon compagnon, s'est passée merveilleusement bien. Si vous cherchez un lieu calme, romantique et intimiste, au contact de la nature et des oiseaux qui chantonnent, n'hesitez pas à y aller. "First impressions on arrival of the outside weren’t good. The hotel was not what we were expecting for the price. A clearer description of location would have been helpful. It’s in a built up business area. However after entering the reception area, we could see the courtyard which was well kept. Also luckily the restaurant is very good. Simple, well cooked French food, at a reasonable price. The room was small (as stated in description,) and basic, bathroom could do with an update. "
