Well appointed, clean and comfortable accommodations. Common area is designed well with nice view and breakfast bar area with all the amenities. Mel was a lovely host who made us fresh muffins in the morning.

Love this B & B!!

Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful home with a view and a country feel. Owners friendly and helpful. We will definitely try to stay here if we visit Anchorage again.

We loved our time in this beautiful property. Well maintained, spacious, great view over city and water afar. We like the luxury towels provided in the house and will definitely buy some when we return home. The sunset on the deck was breathtaking! Host Jim and Melanie are very nice, easy talking to. Melanie even showed us her feeding a giant eagle in the morning! Dining was convenient, about 3-4 mile away in nearby shopping center where you can find a quite big groceries store and gas station. We had dinner at Southside Bistro, good food and outstanding service, thanks Jim! This Airbnb property is definitely highly recommended!

We arrived at the property really late and had to leave really early, so unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy this one as much as we had hoped, but it was still a nice stay. The kitchen has a refrigerator with refreshments you can have any time and a big living room with windows all around. The room we stayed in was verrrrrry small, but we were okay. The bed took up almost the entire room (I think it was a full) and there was a desk & tv. The bathroom had a steam shower which was awesome, but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The shower also had multiple shower heads for a full-body shower. Windows had no screens so we were a little concerned about bugs coming in, but we ended up not really having a problem with it. We accidentally left a pair of shoes under the bed & the owner was so kind & went out of their way to mail them back to us which we really appreciated! I might book this B&B again if we are in the area.

Property is in "burbs" of Anchorage where you are still very close to dining and shopping, but stay in a place where you feel secluded in nature. There are lots of animals to enjoy including the horses, farm cat, dogs, bald eagle, and meese. The Forget Me Not room was perfect for our honeymoon with jetted tub and jetted/steam dual head shower. The main shared area for two guests had fully equipped kitchen, large TV, big open sun area with lots of seating, large deck, and outside hot tub. The staff was attentive, but did not linger, respecting our privacy. Great getaway!

we were made to feel really at home, the owner Jim and Rich who runs the house were awesome as were the other people staying there. We spent hours chatting over a glass of wine late into the evening. The property is excellently kept, is in a great location and is truly an undiscovered gem in Anchorage. We will definitely go back when we are Alaska next.

Amazing location up above the outskirts of the city. Views were spectacular. Rich privideded warm friendly atmosphere and was ready to pshare suggestions about visiting Alaska. He prepared breakfast to your liking with choices of breakfast meats, pastries, eggs, and teas and coffee. We’re came back early one night and it was cool so he lit a fire for us. Only negative was that we should have stayed longer.
