We booked this hotel as it looked nice and was a very reasonable price for the area it was in. It’s located opposite the Rijksmuseum and for the night was cheaper than some hostels in Amsterdam.
Our room was on the lower ground floor and was a small, yet clean and well built space-which was all we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure was perfect and the room itself was well looked after. The digital key system was very clever and felt secure, although I did worry what might happen if my phone battery ran out when I was out and about when no one was at reception. Luckily it wasn’t an issue!
The only two things I could pick a fault with was the very steep steps to the floor, although there was a lift, it seemed inconvenient to get in the lift to go down one floor so it wasn’t really a problem. The other was that the room itself with being below ground had no windows. Again, this was fine for our stay, but had we stayed a little bit longer it might have bothered us.
All in all we were really happy with our stay and we would definitely recommend!
