Hôtel qui a le charme des hôtels de jadis, ce que j’aime bien quand je vais en Europe. Toutefois, les heures de présence du personnel sont très restreintes, je n’ai jamais eu d’interaction avec lui à part une fois, le jour de mon arrivée.

Within walking distance of attractions and lots of dining options which is why we booked this place. Friendly staff called a taxi for us many times ( It poured and we couldn’t walk to our destination). towel bars in bathroom are needed to reuse towels. Remove the chairs and put in a luggage holder. Inconvenient to always have to put suitcase on the bed to access contents.

We knew there was no elevator and it was definitely an experience we laughed a lot about getting ourselves and our luggage up to the 5th floor. Just keep this in mind when booking.

Be prepared for steep stairs! I knew there wasn't an elevator, but staying on the fourth (US fifth) floor was a pretty steep hike. The room and bed were comfortable, though the TV didn't have a signal. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the shower had great water pressure and hot water. There wasn't daily housekeeping in the room, which was fine for me, but FYI for others. I loved the convenience of the location -- it was close to a lot and super convenient, but on a quiet canal and so was nicely peaceful at night. It was also a lot closer to Waterlooplein than it seemed on the map, so that was a nice surprise when arriving. The room would be tight for two people, but wasn't too cramped for just me.

Small, basic, clean.

The room was small but really cute, i had booked specifically because all the mirrors looked fun. Everything was very clean and bed was comfortable. The staff are really lovely. I would stay here again. The location could not have been better.

The good: Historic property, Clean, location, felt secure, excellent and very comfortable bed. The NOT so good: Tiny bedroom, bath stall; hard to keep water confined to the shower pan, almost unable to open the window; as there is no AC and needed air circulation. Other than that; we probably will stay again, basically for the price we paid.

Siisti ja toimiva hotelli

Mukava henkilökunta ja mahtava sijainti! Huone oli muuten hyvä, mutta hieman epäsiistissä kunnossa & vessasta puuttui käsisaippua. Sisään- ja uloskirjautuminen sujui hyvin ja hotellin tilat olivat viihtyisät, tosin eivät sovellu liikuntarajoitteiselle. Suosittelen.
