Location, location, Location! We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Old Quarter, which was in close walking distance to all the key landmarks on our list.
Very good places to stay if visiting Amsterdam, probably the best location for a hotel in the city. Close to food, close to clothes, close to the train station. Do keep in mind this isn’t the Ritz. If you’re a seasoned traveller you’ll like this place.
This hotel was conveniently located for our short stay in Amsterdam. It was small but comfortable. The only downside for me was when you took a shower the toilet and whole area got wet.
Great central location, just a few steps from the main train line.
We were upgraded to a canal view which was a lovely treat.
The hotel is inside a restaurant/bar so you have everything there you need.
We were a little hesitant about booking this hotel because of some of the bad reviews but we found the facility very nice with very nice staff. The room was very clean. The location was fantastic. We had the canal
The Hotel is very convenient to Centraal Station and many tourist options at a reasonable price for the location. We arrived early for check in, but were able to upgrade to a canal view room with elevator access right away. The room and bathroom were small but clean. The bar area was a great place for a night cap before retiring to the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good choice for a one night stay.

The hotel was okay for a short stay. The location is very good and convenient, but the room was extremely small. It’s fine if you’re just looking for a place to sleep while visiting Amsterdam.
Nice experience, hotel is very well located with easy access, beautiful view, clean room, very friendly & helpful staff, thank you! Would gladly recommend and revisit.
Super convenient location, close to the train station. View over canal was nice to have, both to see the sites and open the windows for air at night. Check in went smoothly, room was clean, bed was comfortable, and elevator worked well. Despite heat, room was comfortable without A/C. Would stay again.
Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, pictures showed it was canal facing but it didn’t seem like it. Probably some rooms might be. Although it is walk up staff let us use elevator to bring out luggage for which we were thankful. However since the entrance is in narrow alley Uber’s don’t come there so you have to walk couple of blocks either your luggage to get Uber. Central station was 5 min walk .
Overall, the hotel is good. One thing I would suggest improving is the restaurant menu. The hotel is very well located for anyone who wants to experience The Beatles attractions.
