The location of this hotel was everything for us. The neighborhood is very safe, restaurants and cafes near by, one block away from the Metro station and few blocks away from main attractions. Customer service was excellent. The rooms were cleaned properly and we were even allowed to ccheck in early for free 😊 Ignacio, the hotel manager was very informative and friendly. The room we stayed in was a bit small but I guess this is what you get in Europe the bathroom was clean.

We had a mixed experience during our five day stay at this hotel. The Positives: First, the location is excellent. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the area. Furthermore, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The reception team genuinely tried to assist us with all requests. The Major Issues: Unfortunately, there were significant drawbacks that affected our comfort. Room Size: The rooms are unacceptably small and severely limited in space. Shower Problem: I experienced a severe issue with the shower: every few seconds, there was a burst of scalding hot water (to the point of being a burn risk), immediately followed by ice cold water. Despite repeated requests over my entire five-day stay, and despite the best efforts of the reception staff to arrange a fix, this shower problem was never solved. What is most frustrating is that a colleague staying in a different room during the same period did not experience this issue. This strongly suggests that a simple, logical solutio, moving me to a different room, would have resolved the problem immediately. This room change was neither offered nor executed, which significantly impacted my comfort and overall experience. While we appreciate the friendly service, the failure to resolve a critical maintenance issue over five full days, especially when a simple room swap was available, is unacceptable.

Ich fand es sehr kalt in dem Zimmer, auch wenn ich die Klimaanlage aus geschalten habe, ist die ganze Zeit irgendeine kalte Lüftung gelaufen. Die Bettdecke war zum Glück sehr dick. Das Zimmer war okay, als Alleinreisende. Mit Partner hätte ich dort nicht übernachten wollen, mit einer Toilette aus Glasscheiben. Es war kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es liegt weit weg vom Hauptbahnhof, 45min zu Fuß. 20 Gehminuten vom Van Gogh Museum entfernt. Allgemein weit weg vom Zentrum. Ich fand 118chf pro Nacht sehr teuer, dafür dass das Zimmer nur sehr minimalistisch ausgestattet und nicht sehr sauber ist. Bett, Stuhl, Glaskasten mit Toilette & Dusche drin, kleiner Fernseher (+ Punkt, 3 deutsche Programme). Kein Tisch oder Regal, wo man mal eine Trinkflasche hätte drauf stellen können. Immerhin war die Fensterbank sehr breit, da konnte ich etwas drauf legen, wenn der Vorhang nicht zugezogen war. Rundum: Es hat zum schlafen gereicht. Mehr hat das Hotel aber nicht zu bieten. Für das Zimmer fände ich 70-80chf okay, alles andere ist wirklich zu teuer, für das was man bekommt. Es dürfte auch gründlicher geputzt werden.

The Hotel is very well appointed, conveniently located to different dining options, metro and shopping . The hotel itself is basic, would be nice to see more amenities , we ask for hangers , they dont have them and lack of space in the room to put your clothing away. we saw that the same hotel in an near by city provided guest with umbrellas as it was awfully raining, we asked in our hotel they don't offer that either , it was a bit disappointing having barely minimum amenities.

The best thing about this hotel is the fact that the beds and the shower are both very good. Pillows are excellent. Rooms are very basic - no wardrobe, no hairdryer or tea or coffee or hand towels. There is soap and toilet paper. If two people are sharing this would be a nightmare! Tiny space and no privacy. By far, the worst thing is the paper thin walls. You can hear people turning over in bed, snoring and farting through the walls. If someone is watching TV next door it’s a total nightmare for everyone adjacent and above and below them - especially if you are trying to relax or sleep. The wall is literally a curtain between rooms. Not exaggerating. If you have no one around you - it’s fine. If you are in busy season - yikes! Its unbelievable that licenses for hotel buildings with no sound proofing and such poor building materials can be approved! I wouldn’t stay again. The hotel staff were really nice.

Such a great hotel for a good price, exactly what we needed for 4 nights in Amsterdam. The room with two twin beds was small but the beds were comfortable and the size was not really an issue even with two adults. The location was also great: tons of restaurants nearby, right next to a tram and metro stop, 15 min walks to both Heineken Experience and Rijksmuseum. Highly recommend easyHotel CCS and would book here again when visiting Amsterdam!
