"The staff here were so very helpful, they were a great resource dealing with the rain and unfortunate low clouds. They also put out a great breakfast and we loved the schorle machine. The location was convenient enough, although Google kept wanting to send us down random side streets due to construction.
My only two complaints : first, there's no AC. Most of the time you don't need it in the Alps, but the night we stayed our room was _hot_.
Second, some of the layout is just weird. Our room had a balcony, but there was another door to that same balcony out in the hallway, so leaving the door open to let in some cool mountain air would also let in any other guest of the hotel."
"The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and very clean. Both the breakfast and lunch offerings were excellent, with a great variety and quality of food. An additional convenience was the hotel’s location near the Sixt rental car drop-off point—I rented a car in Munich and was able to return it just a 4–5 minute walk from the hotel, which made my travel experience much smoother. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to others."
"Very seamless, parking on site with flat walk and a lift. Spa amenities looked great although we did not use. Breakfast was ok to start our days.
Room could use an energy efficient mini fridge. Keeping a couple of cold drinks and cooling medications is a big plus for us. Location is great for sites in the area without traffic issues."
"Overall our stay was great! Located in a beautiful town surrounded by great views of the mountains. Our room was spacious with 2 separate bedrooms. Enjoyed the balcony view. Breakfast was pretty basic, but learned that that’s what’s common in many hotels in Europe. Also common is that the reception to check-in closes pretty early, usually 8pm. So if you get there late, they just leave your key in an envelope. We didn’t quite like that there was no one onsite for any questions or emergencies. Especially being from out of the country and not speaking the language. But when we finally met the receptionist in the morning when checking out, she was very nice."
"Very nice stay here! I stayed in a single room which was perfect for me. Central location in town. The room had a skylight window with gorgeous Mountain Views!"
"A great location in the heart of Garmisch. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Dinner was nice as well as the bar. Convenient location just a short walk to the city center with onsite parking available."
