Barbara at reception was an angel in disguise. She helped us with taxi service, chair lift details, and answered any question we had. It would be helpful to know not to get off the bus from Fussen at the first stop as the bus stops in the village closer to the hotel.

Our one bedroom suite was large and included a separate living room, desk with Nespresso coffee machine, plenty of closet and shelf space, and large bathroom with a shower and 2 sinks, There was a gorgeous view of green pastures and mountains from our windows and balcony. The room as well as the entire hotel was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large breakfast buffet but no dinner service. They provided a list of recommended restaurants in the Oberammergau city center. The distance to the central area of town is walkable but because it was raining, we were glad we had a car. Parking at the hotel is plentiful and free but all parking in town is paid through parking meters. We enjoyed our stay at Arnika and even stayed an extra night.

Lovely hotel in very quiet location. Good breakfast convenient to get into town. Parking can be a bit cramped and sofa bed was not that comfortable. Overall great little hotel.

Wonderful stay in the Bavarian Alps. The hotel offers breathtaking mountain views that make every morning special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh options. Was told Expedia overcharged by a huge amount. Was told that using the spa would cost an extra €50 per room although Expedia declared this as included. Motion sensor, light in roomcomes on throughout the night, the front desk is aware of this, but hasn’t done anything about it. Rooms extremely hot with no fans and no AC. How is this a four star hotel?
