"Be careful before you book about the check - in and check - out time because it is very unusual which is 4pm and 10am, when you are inn make sure to lock the door from inside as maybe the owner open the door and invade your privacy, plus is not sure to find place at the parking, plus the AC water drips inside the bedroom, and finally we asked to have queen or king bed and we got 2 small twins beds on wheels which kept moving all night. "

"We have just spent 3 days at the Hotel , which is located next to Alhambra and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and quick to respond to requests or queries. The food was very good with lots of choice and replenished quickly. Bedding and towels were changed frequently. Would stay again."

"Everything was perfect!! From check-in to check-out and parking valet service. Entrance to the Alhambra palace is about 1-2 minutes. Walking distance to the city center, beautiful, beautiful. I would like to come back here again. Nice restaurant and excellent staff. No wonder this is 5 star hotel. "

"Barceló Carmen is in a great location for walking to Alhambra and the Arabic/romany quarter. There are lots of options for dinning close by. We did not take breakfast in the hotel-so was not able to evaluate. The room facilities were well thought out and everything was designed well for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
