"My first time ever to stay at a Four Seasons and I was very disappointed that I didn’t know all pools and beach access was closed due to winter — which was not cold at all and we would have wanted to still enjoy the beach. Breakfast was amazing and beds and pillows and sheets were fantastic!! Staff is formal but nice and will answer all questions. "

"Le Metropole is definitely the best hotel in Alexandria, and our best in Egypt. The minute you step in, you feel special. Loved the historical grandiose and the tentative service. View from our sea view room was great and so is the view from the rooftop restaurant. Breakfast has a great variety. We ate in the rooftop restaurant everyday and food was delicious. Pre dinner light meal was a nice touch. A slight area of improvement: services are not always consistent. For example, there was a turn down service for only 1 out of 3 nights we were there. There was not enough supply of toilet paper. Sometime there was loud music in the hallway. Food served was cold for 1 dinner and presentation and quantity was inconsistent from dinner to dinner. We were not served bread rolls for 1 out of 3 nights. "
