The Hume Dam with dusk tones on Good Friday, 2015. The Hume Dam is a gated concrete gravity dam across the Murray River and downstream of the Mitta Mitta River. It provides flood mitigation, hydroelectricity, irrigation, water supply and conservation. The reservoir now known as Lake Hume has the capacity of six times the water in Sydney Harbour, Australia. Notably in 2007, during the ten year drought, capacity fell to 1%. It's a big structure and I had to stand afar to capture it on my trusty iPhone. All said I loved it and really enjoyed the colours and shadows. #Australia Easter #roadtrip

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay here, it was relaxing and very quiet at night, which made it easy to unwind. The location is great!
