Rocks. That seems to be some of the most interesting things in New Mexico right? Well that actually may be true.

Petroglyph National Monument, located in Albuquerque NM, is home to lots of rocks. In fact, these volcanic rocks happen to hold carvings, like the ones you see here, that are over 400 years old! Native Americans, and early Spanish settlers, are thought to have left these as guides, warnings, or for spiritual reasons.

For a less crowded siteseeing, and to enjoy some exercise, take the south trail. 2.5 miles of dirt path, practically all to yourself!
