"Staff were amazing, hotel facilities also very good. Limited food options and very pricey. Secluded area, very quiet and resort feels very safe. Room facilities a little outdated but all in all a fantastic experience.
Breakfast buffet 5 star. "

"The breakfast buffet was stupidly delicious, the food in the bottom floor restaurant is all flawless.
The pools and beach are always clean and the pool people were very attentive with bringing towels and water.
But in one sentence: the hotel is good but the staff is great! "

"The staff were all kind and it was a comfortable hotel. There was an Indian restaurant on-site so there was no problem with food, and the location was good, just 15-20 minutes walk from Mutrah Souq. As it is an old hotel, the toilets and shower rooms were a bit dirty. Overall, it was excellent value for money."

"The hotel apartment is ideal for family of 4-5 on a budget. The rooms are large and it has more of an apartment feel vs a hotel. Service is decent though housekeeping is alternate days. Food options are excellent especially Indian restaurants in 2 minute walking distance (Cochin restaurant). The location enables easy 10 minute access to Mutrah souq and many attractions of Muscat. "

"There was no offer for Food like in the advertisement said. They wanted to bring it from a coffeshop. The dishes on the menue in the room were not available, so we went for Dinners outside, what was much better.
Cleaning of the rooms we had to order seperately, they didn´t do it every day as it was in the advertisement written.
The Hotel lightly under the average but for a reasonable price."

"It felt like a total scam. Lobby was very smelly. Very loud music at night !! No wifi signal in the room.! Receptionist was kind enough to provide different ssid password in the lobby. Tiny room with horrible bed and dirty toilet. Shower has almost no pressure. "

"Great hotel, ample parking, great facilities, pools, private beach, gymn, squash, tennis courts, very spacious grounds, rooms good, breakfast v.good, service friendly and helpful, nice bar and good beer!"
"Just got back from a 6-day break at Jumeirah Muscat Bay, and I can honestly say I’d definitely go back. The hotel is stunning — beautifully maintained and set in such a peaceful, scenic location. The staff were absolutely amazing: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. We also had a couples’ spa treatment which was perfect — so professional and relaxing that we both felt incredible afterwards.
A special shout-out to the yoga instructor who taught the Ashtanga yoga sessions on the beach. She was an excellent teacher — so calm, relaxed, and patient. Ending the day with yoga by the sea was truly a highlight of the trip.
The excursions offered by the hotel were also very good, especially the one to the Grand Mosque with Wabar Tours, which was well-organized and insightful. However, the dolphin watching and snorkelling tour was a bit disappointing, particularly in how a minor onboard accident involving a passenger was handled.
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be to have a few more dining options in the evenings, as we sometimes found it difficult to get reservations.
Overall, though, Jumeirah Muscat Bay is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. We left feeling refreshed and are already looking forward to our next visit."
