Love it happy I didn’t go with the previous reviews hehehe. They did have hot water and a helpful person. Many things were processed via WhatsApp but super helpful and quick.

The private pool attached to our unit we rented was disgusting, we asked to have it refilled and cleaned, however we were ignored. We loved the pool. Had a great time, would rent from another unit next time in the same location.

Pros: Clean pool and outdoor areas, safe neighborhood, Cons: No reception office, private condos. I don’t believe the sheets were changed from the previous guests. Found about a dozen hairs of different types in the bedding. Told staff about the hairs. I checked out of the room so they could clean and change the sheets. Checked back in the next day and they made the bed with the same sheets and bedding. Still dirty of course. Makes me wonder if they are washing the towels and bedding between each guest.

The reason for the low score is there was no hot water in the shower, and no tv service despite there being 2 TVs in the apartment. The apartment was large… and clean. The bed was comfy. The pool was nice. The toilet seat was broken, and again NO HOT WATER or TV. We were only there for one night so those things weren’t the end of the world, but no way could I stay there for longer without at least a warm shower…. It was absolutely freezing.

Arrived to find night security did not speek a word of english. Got in room. The power was out. Remained out most of the night. Went out the next night as well. Room was cold. left oven on all night for heat. No soap of any kind in room. Only 2 towles for entire 10 days. No laundry service with in 10 miles. Actually nothing in area but 1 restaurant 1/2 mile away. No room service. No instructions or information left in room. Couldn't get tv to work. On demand Water heater did not keep up to a shower and thru the breaker often. Water from tap tasted the worst I have ever had.

Ridiculous
Ridiculous that this place is listed. It is a bedroom and washroom in the middle of no where. No restaurants, stores or any help in walking distance. Just a room in a group of townhouses. No reception,no water,no coffee, nothing. Dropped off by taxi and abandoned.

We reserved this property and the host pulled the reservation out from under us! Despite selecting pay on arrival the host waited until just before check-in to tell us we had to bank wire money to an account, and then didn't honor a new reservation paid through Expedia via credit card. We showed up at our room to find out the key wasn't there and had to book an entirely new reservation somewhere else. If we'd wired money like requested I'd be out my entire fee! Be careful reserving here, the property looks ok but the manager took our money, immediately ghosted us when challenged upon our finding no key available, only partially refunded us, and we had to file a challenge through Expedia for a full refund.

Beautiful place for the price
What a beautiful property! The rooms are small but very clean. The property is lush and beautiful with lots of foliage and cute walkways throughout. There are 2 pools. Not a lot of food choices in the immediate area and none in walking distance but we had a rental car and enjoyed driving over to the ocean or to find food. Love this place!

My flight was canceled due to the Vancouver airport being closed for three days due to weather. I was finally able to travel to Tulum. Then I asked for some kind of compensation such as changing the date of the stay or cancellation of the reservation for the involuntary loss of my flight, and Anah suites refused to acknowledge my request. I ended up paying double at another neighboring property for my vacation in Tulum.

the rooms are very safe and clean, its a gated rich community along with other big properties so you don't gotta worry about your safety. apart from the rooms being nice and modern, the 2 pools in the property were not clean and looked like they haven't been cleaned in a very long time which took away point from this property because why have a pool if cant be used? My honest review is that i really loved Anah suites and would definitely recommend, its really close to a lot of beaches and restaurants and literally everything. If you have a lot of money you'd enjoy your stay around because everything you do involves money.

I do not recommend this property. Our stay was terrible! The water from our room smelled awful that made the whole unit smell. We advised the property manager of the situation and they did not do a thing about it. Every employee we advised about the smell was already aware of the situation and did not do a thing about it either! The communication is awful too! Upon arrival the person that attended us was not able to find our room. We went from building to building trying to find our room. The amenities were awful too! No water bottles or extra towels were provided. The shower head was broken which made a mess of water when we would shower! Bed sheets were not clean either Never again in our life’s we will be booking here again!

We thought the complex was beautiful. They should provide a map to make it easier to learn where things are. We were upset that we were required to check in between 3-6pm causing us to miss out on activities during the day and then they were not ready for us to go in when we got there at 5:30. We had to wait over 30min. We entered the apartment and there was no water pressure in the shower. The hot water didn't seem to function properly but the kitchen had too much pressure and was broken so it squirted everywhere. We have videos to document. It was supposed to have a plunge pool but didn't. The TV didn't work and wasn't connected, we fixed it. The fan in the living room wouldn't work. There is an odd big piece of metal connecting the couch on the floor sticking out that is really painful when your foot finds it. Be careful. The space lacks basic cleaning supplies of any kind so be prepared, but there isn't a store nearby so you'll have to drive to get supplies. The neighborhood is lovely. But neighbors might be partying really really loud at 3am. We will not be staying again.

Anniversary Ruined - CALL TO CONFIRM ROOM
We had booked the Penthouse, 1 bedroom, Terrace, Resort View, 2 weeks prior to travelling to Tulum. A few nights before our scheduled stay, we had receive a text from Anah Suites asking if we would be needing any transportation to the hotel (this was a nice gesture from the hotel to follow up), not too long after we had received an email from Anah Suites Tulum - “We look forward to your stay at Anah Suites Tulum” stating we had reserved a One Bedroom Apartment Room Only. I had then texted them back inquiring if this is the same as what I had booked online. No answer until we checked into the hotel. Turns out they had a “system error” that was not showing the correct bookings and that the Penthouse had actually been booked out for the last 2 months. We’re still waiting on a refund from them currently.

This Is A LIE! Don’t Book!!!
The post says city center Tulum, IT IS NOT! It is 18 miles way from Tulum city and 2 miles from Akumal. You will be doing a lot of walking. It is over a half mile to the main road with no way to get there but walking. It is almost a mile to the club house. You will spend much of your time walking, paying for taxis or shoved into a city shuttle once you get to the main road. Expect to pay hundreds in transportation. It is easiest to walk the 2 miles to the beach otherwise you will be paying $30 for a taxi each way. They didn’t respond to any inquiries until the day before my stay. They couldn’t even find my reservation until then. When the city bus drops you off in Akumal, then the shuttle picks you up, then it drops you off out front. You will meet security guards that have no information about you, so expect to wait 20 minutes to get that cleared up and HOPEFULLY the property manager answers or you won’t get in. Once you do, have fun walking up to a mile with all your luggage! For me it was in the rain too! Want to cancel after booking?? Nah VRBO wants nothing to do with the properties provided by partners, you are STUCK with it. Even if you try to cancel right after. The maids will come once... they day after you check in. The rest of the stay you will watch trash and dishes pile up. Your towels are all you got, so be careful. The best part, be conservative with your ONE roll of toilet paper. Overall a complete waste of money and a. TERRIBLE experience. Never booking with VRBO again

We had a penthouse suite and it was outstanding. High-end appliances appeared brand new. Daily housekeeping was perfect. Nice to have access to the main resort but so glad we were back near the jungle. We had the pool to ourselves every day, right underneath our window and rooftop deck, which also had a private jacuzzi. Good location central to Akumal and Tulum.

Luxurious apartments not quite in Tulum
Anah Suites Tulum is a very lovely and nice property on the greater Bahia Principe property in Akumal. Note this is not in Tulum...it's about 20 minutes drive to Tulum. These are apartments and it's best you take your own supplies. If you are not driving, it's going to be difficult to get food/drinks, etc. Our stay was a one bedroom villa (no sofa bed) and a fully furnished villa it was. Very clean and has everything you want. Nice little swimming pool and the gem here is that you can get access to the Bahia Principe All Inclusive property. This is a nice luxurious property.

Lovely rooms and pool
The actual facility was beautiful and our room was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/and other necessary supplies to cook with. The pool area is lovely and there is a free shuttle you can take to the beach. The directions we were given (from the web site) were wrong - the address they have listed takes you to a different hotel. It took us over an hour of searching to find the hotel. Our room was not ready and we had to wait over an hour to get our room. The manager gave us a room upgrade since they did not have the room we were supposed to get. They do not have early check out and since we paid a $400 damage deposit via credit card, we felt like we needed to wait for someone to check us out at 9am (we could have left the key in our room, but you have to pay a $400 damage deposit on your credit card and I wanted to be sure to get our deposit back). It is near many great cenotes and the Akumal Monkey Sanctury.

(The property claims to have WiFi but at check-in we were told that the internet was down that day. In the lobby it didn't come back throughout our stay, and our apartment didn't even have an internet router.)

Very nice, but a trek to Tulum
When we booked this, the location was listed as Tulum, so we were very disappointed to end up in Akmel, 25 min away from Tulum. The website has since been corrected to indicate correctly where it is, but make sure you have clear directions, especially if you plan to arrive after 5 pm when the local office closes. (Carry their phone number as there may be someone available at the central office after hours.) The security guard who has the key does not speak English and there were no instructions whatsoever in our villa, so we were frustrated and clueless about everything until 9 am the next morning. At 9 am, very helpful Carolina provided all we needed to know. The accommodations are lovely, although just constructed and so there were minor kinks. Be prepared to find no condiments, etc, and a good grocery store is a trek. There was toilet paper, but nothing else.

Stylish and clean.
The property is fairly new, so a lot of construction but absolutely beautiful. Very stylish rooms with full kitchen. Missing a few amenities throughout, such as soap a dish, toothbrush holder and trash can in the bathroom, coffee filters and mixing bowls in the kitchen and a night stand in one of the bedrooms. Access to the Bahia Princepe, and a couple of other affiliated resorts. beach was alright, rocky for the most part. Overall, A-Nah Suites is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

The unit (D1) is very nice however it is neglected by the management team renting the unit. On our arrival, there were no cookware available, no dish soap, dirty windows, plugged drain in the shower, dirty dishes in the cupboard, mold in the cupboard, plunge pool broken,etc. The concierge brought two pans the next day and blame the owner for the issues with the unit. Despite the unit being very nice and well located and do not recommended due to its lack of cleanliness.

Me gustó muchísimo el lugar! El único detalle es que todo es por chat, nadie te recibe cuando llegas, nunca hay una persona que te pueda auxiliar, pides ayuda por WhatsApp y se demoran en responder o no responden, al único que vimos fue al guardia antes de retirarnos del lugar, de ahí en fuera todo estaba muy bonito, la habitación se sentía acogedora, todo en silencioso y tranquilo! Se fue la luz dos veces y nos quedamos horas así
