The property is clean but dated. Even though the town is close, the walk is either up or downhill. I’m surprised the town doesn’t have better stairs or sidewalks to walk to the various beaches and areas. Cabs and UBER are available.

Cathy, the manager was excellent! The unit was quiet with lots of room although the wifi was inconsistant - it was actually better outside on our patio than inside! The pool was really nice. The climb up the hill was a good workout ;-) although any tour provided a free shuttle which was great.

The apartment was a 2 Bedroom for 4 People. We had plenty of room, the apartment was clean and had plenty of appliances if we were cooking full meals. Walking distance to every thing in Airlie. A terrace for sitting outside with a view of the water. A good sized swimming pool. Even though the place seemed busy, no noise disturbed us. Would certainly stay there again.

A conveniently located, if tired apartment

The apartment was well equipped, with all you need. However, arranging a late check in was far from convenient, and required a lengthy time wasting series of messages for something which should be a relatively simple request given the limited reception hours. Additionally, the information booklet specified that guests were to set air-conditioning to 27 degrees overnight, a bit of an unreasonable demand especially for someone from the UK.... The living space of the apartment was pleasant, but the bathroom was very tired and appeared dirty due to old grout and a very stained toilet bowl- I can only hope this was due to very hard water.

Airlie Apartments was an excellent accommodation choice for my short stay in Airlie Beach in September. So glad I found them on wotif.com. It's conveniently located, near both the town centre and Shute Harbour. The apartments are clean and modern, with all the standard facilities. They also have a wonderful swimming pool and barbecue area for guests to use. We also had lovely views of Shute Harbour from our apartment balcony. What made our stay extra special though was the attentive and personal service provided by Airlie Apartments Manager, Cathy. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and it is her friendly, personalised service that makes staying at Airlie Apartments an even better experience. I will definitely try to book accommodation at Airle Apartments (hopefully Cathy is still there) the next time I stay in Airlie Beach.

We stayed in unit 16b. The apartment was clean and the king size bed was awesome. The door locks on its own so make sure you take the key if you leave. We mentioned this to the caretaker as we had read it in reviews as well. She said she would have someone look at it. But why not have it fixed if it already had been mentioned more than once? We cooked with the well equipped kitchen. The 2 AC units kept us comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the view from the pool and shaded deck was gorgeous. The pictures online of the apartment and pool area arent as nice as it actually is. Oh, and the walk up the hill is tough, but not that long. Recommend to anyone.

Had a disappointing start to the stay, we were tired after travelling for the day only to be lectured upon arrival because we were checking in at 4pm on a Sunday and had not read the check in times. It put a really sour note on the trip, I don't think the lady realised we were here for a much needed holiday and that if she was concerned with our check in time she should have called me as my number is provided on my details at the time of booking. This alone would make me not stay here and not recommend this place. Our room was clean but very average, it rained the whole trip and was so cold. The room had no heating, no umbrella and no doona which made the stay very uncomfortable. Would recommend staying elsewhere for this price.
