「Great little guest house with stunning views. Of Ullswater. We used the guest house as visiting the Inn on the Lake which is literally just across the road. Spotless room and super friendly staff 👍」

「We stayed at the Horse and Farrier the night before our hike up Scafell Pike, it's only a 25 minute drive to Seathwaite Parking, if you're going up the corridor route. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. the food was lovely and the room we stayed in was clean, well presented and comfy. Definitely recommend eating nd staying here!」

「The location is spectacular as was the weather. Kate the manager is exceptional, she had agency staff who were a credit to her but new one had been there 2 hours, a chef walked out and she was cooking as well as running and managing everything including a power cut. The hotel is tired we had a suite and the plugs didn’t work in the bath and shower, the bath was also chipped. If they spent the money and invested in the proper and staff it would be awesome, the garden needed mowing and was...

「What lovely staff, so friendly. This is the best place i have stayed in yet on my Coast to Coast walk. Breakfast was amazing, apart from the usual full english (which loses its novelty after 5 days!) chose eggs benedict which was perfectly cooked and made a lovely change. Room was spacious and bed comfy. All together a great place to stay.」
