Situated up near the canopy of the rainforest the grounds offer tremendous views and vigorous hikes including to a waterfall with a crisp, cool swimming hole. The food was delicious and served with attention and kindness overlooking the pool that mirrored the night sky. The staff were exceptional overall and all bringing coffee to my door at dawn was a personal favorite. "

"Husband and I are here on last leg of a birding trip. This is one of 10 of places we have stayed, and is our favorite ecolodge. Lots of birds on the property, and stay includes a complementary bird tour on-site. We did all meals food plan; meals are basic, made with fresh ingredients and full portions. Spacious rooms have nice views of adjacent jungle."

"Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge "
