Hotel property is a bit away from most things so it's best to either take a taxi or to drive. We stayed one night, New Year's eve, so not much was open. However there is a giant supermarket across the street so you can get most anything you want to buy even pre-made food The hotel serves a microwaveable small meal, 4 choices. Nothing great, but edible. We walked to the silk mill then yo the train station

KPH Guest Service Center Smile Concierge was a welcome surprise after exiting the Karuizawa Station exit. The persons at the GSCSC were extremely helpful and gave me all sorts of guidance for my stay which proved to be very useful Appreciated the shuttle which runs from KPH GSCSC Karuizawas Station ...
