"Breakfast was normal, staff abd room were great"

"Only stayed for one night, but the room was spotless and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. Breakfast provided in the morning, eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bagels and muffins. Free parking is always a plus!"

"Booking via a 3rd party hurt me in the end. When I arrived, I was immediately told my reservation had been moved to a sister hotel. I received no email or phone call as they stated when you book with a 3rd party, no contact information is provided to them. The first manager at the courtyard was rude! At the Residence Inn, they upgraded my room to a 2 bdrm suite for the inconvenience; however, as I was exiting the shower, the entire shower door came off the hinges and fell on me! This is a 20 pound plexi glass door! I immediately go to the front desk, still wet, and told them what occurred. As you could imagine, I was not being pleasant at this point. Two gentlemen come, one being a manager, and offers to change my room once again and refund my money for the room. Although it was made right in the end, I was aggravated and the whole experience is not something I would write home about. This was my first visit to Tampa, 5 out of 10, I DO NOT RECOMMEND"
