「The apartment is in a "not so great" neighbourhood, but it's not as scary as some of what the other reviews said. You do feel a bit unsafe late at night, but there's a nice Texan/Mexican restaurant just 3 mins walk from the apartment. Food there was nice. 「We ended up checking in to The Georgetown Inn after our original hotel booking ended up being in a not-so-great part of DC. We were so impressed by the Georgetown. It’s the cutest boutique hotel in a great area. Walking distance to Georgetown shopping and the free valet parking was a major plus. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Could not recommend this hotel more. We will always stay here when visiting DC. 」

「Mint House is an adorable hotel very near the National Mall. The apartment was clean and cute, and had all the amenities we needed, including a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. There are plenty of restaurants nearby including a wonderful cafe. The staff was kind, helpful and very welcoming. 」

「The property is brand new in a very nicely renovated area near restaurants and the sports arenas. Our apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a walk in closet, kitchen with enough supplies to live comfortably and our own washer and dryer. "We requested a comforter at 10:00pm and the front desk told us that the housekeeping office was locked already and we cannot have an extra comforter because of that. As a result, we have to live through the cold night without an extra comforter"
