"The rooms fan was not working well … I didn’t like the wet room style of bathroom … better with a proper shower cubicle as if you went in after someone showered then the whole floor was wet and your socks got soaking wet"
"For an IHG hotel, it is very disappointing. It looks nice from outside, but the more you look, the worse it got.
The one lasting impression from our 2 night stay is how dirty this room was - 100% not being cleaned or maintained properly.
Other than the amount of dust in the room and bathroom, the bathroom shower had lots of black mould in the white grout, hair on the floor and there was blood and crud on the shower head. Definitely not being cleaned properly each day/ after each guest.
The curtains didn’t block out all the light from outside, the ventilation/aircon didn’t work very well unless you dropped the temp heaps, and room was too small for everything in it - full table with chair, and a sitting chair.
We spoke to reception about the cleanliness and showed photos of the blood on the shower head. There were no apologies, shock or compensation - Didn’t really care; terrible service. They said housekeeping would sort it out (they only cleaned 3/4 of the room when we returned and that seemed adequate for them)
I’ve come home quite sick - can’t 100% say it was from the hotel, but can’t say that it’s not.
Only positive - soft comfy bed (but cleanliness questioned)"
"Fantastic location in Glenelg. Studio room overall nice and comfortable. However bathroom definitely needed an upgrade and wall could do with a paint.
I would stay again if yhe price was right.
Lovely receptionist"
"The hotel was clean, staff were helpful and great facilities such as swimming pool, sauna, gym and laundry room. The biggest issue for me is the bed which is too soft."
"Currently under renovation the Hilton sold out to a new purchaser. The lobby space was reduced to a quarter of its area & very dusty . Room was average carpet old & smelly , bathroom tiny & no exhaust fan to extract the steam , windows not clean . I suppose i stayed there at the wrong time ."
