The property is completely misrepresented. It is big, unkept, dirty and uncomfortable. You have to climb up on a 3rd floor with no elevator available. The rooms are big and spooky with some kind of statures of Indians. Beds are uncomfortable. The pool is there and trash is swimming there as it is not available for swimming. Awful!

We got lots of help with our luggage from the owner but hadn’t realized we’d be on the 3rd floor. This is a grand old home in an area where some of the historic houses are being renovated. There’s a great dairy bar right down the street.

The B&B is absolutely gorgeous. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. There’s a comprehensive history on the home located on the main floor. Plenty of things to do like a pool table, board games, air hockey table, inground pool, and a short walk to the antique market. They offer homemade breakfast, refeshments, and various snacks. 10/10 will stay here again. Pets are allowed too!

We chose to stay here since it was close to the PA Renaissance Faire and we prefer the care that goes into bnbs versus a hotel/motel. And VAAST didn't disappoint! Amanda took great care to make us feel at home and it truly did feel like home. Their friendly dog Skye begging at the table at breakfast was so cute. And the house was so alive with the owners kids/pets running about and the other guests hanging out in the shared downstairs spaces. That being said, you can also have your privacy if you want. They have a private coded lock on every unit's door and private bathrooms with coffee maker and mini fridge in every room. The only complaint I could voice if I needed to say something would be the mini fridge was rather loud. Personally I could do without a fridge in the room especially since everything we would need was downstairs in the shared space kitchen. But that won't stop us from coming back everytime we visit the Renaissance Faire!
