"This property is closed for bookings. This is despite Expedia letting us book it for a stay in April as part of a package. The rating is more to do with Expedia and the fact that we were unable to reach this property or get any help from Expedia in trying to find out the status of our late arrival request We were therefore left stranded with no accommodation when we arrived in Agia Pelagia "

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. Checking out was easy and they even have a luggage store if your flight is later and need somewhere to store it until your departure! GDM Megaron Historical Monument Hotel

GDM Megaron Historical Monument Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed here overnight before our flight back to LA and it was perfect. It’s a gorgeous and chic historical hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and gave us a nice complimentary upgrade for our anniversary (so sweet!). The housekeeping woman was also so nice and left us some local treats and Raki. The room was huge and the bed was also really comfortable (I am very picky with beds, especially in Europe). The large bathroom was by far the nicest of all of the hotels we stayed throughout our time in Greece with Korres bath products which was a very classy touch. Amazing rain shower and water pressure. Make sure not to leave Greece without picking up some Korres! The rooftop is perfect for sunset drinks. We didn’t have time for the pool, but if we were there for longer we definitely would have taken advantage. It’s on the smaller side but perfect for a quick dip. It is also very well located in a safe area and walking distance to so many shops and restaurants while also being a quick drive to the airport for an early departure. We had a nice time walking along the marina and checking out all of the boats and grabbing a fresh seafood dinner on the water. We were trying to locate a specific type of unique souvenir we had been looking for but couldn’t find throughout our trip, and the front desk receptionist was very helpful in helping us find it a short walk away! Will come back for longer next time, thanks GDM!"
