"We loved the location, on a quiet stretch of the island but everything easily accessible with a short Grab ride.
The Ocean View Suite was huge and comfortable. We cooked most meals in the room and had everything we needed.
Loved the infinity pool.

"Ong's homestay has many rooms and there is a front porch for parking. This place is not ideal if you have no car to travel around the area. Mr Ong is very friendly and it is still a good place to stay if you wish to be centrally located near Kuah Town."
"S’ekar Pinang is a wonderful place. It’s located in a more quiet remote area, while at the same time being only about a 10 min drive away from the very popular Pantai Cenang. The facilities (pool, aircon, rooms, living area etc )were of high quality and very inviting. The personnel (Wan and crew) at the place did everything in their power to make sure we had a great stay and were very flexible and willing to personalise. Absolute recommend!"

"Very noisy, a bar next to the hotel plays loud music until 2 am. Staff have no English skills, and seem uncomfortable with foreigners. They asked for a refundable deposit which was never returned. Not a good value for the money."

"This is a brand new hotel, unfortunately who ever built it didn't know what they were doing. Upon arrival the hotel looks very impressive, however in the rooms, the doors don't fit, with large gaps all around, letting in traffic noise and also lots of bugs. Room was dirty and full of ants, the wash basin drained onto the floor, I assume a blocked pipe, and my 2 minute shower flooded the entire bathroom. When I checked out 2 hrs latter, the room was still flooded as no water had drained away.Also...
"Welcoming was great and staff are very polite. Rooms were okay but very outdated. Found a cockroach dead in the bathroom and highlighted it to the staff but nothing was done about it despite them saying it will be sorted which was very disappointing.
Paid extra for the breakfast but I wouldn't recommend it. Very limited breakfast and doesn't cater for majority of diets.
Location was quite good as shops and markets were close by.
But overall I wouldn't be staying here again should I visit the...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Kelapa. We were looking for a few days of mainly relaxation, and this place was perfect for that. Nice, peaceful surroundings amongst rice fields with gorgeous sunsets and good, friendly, easy-going service. Shout out to Fauzi for taking good care of us. Our villa (Batu, I think) was clean and spacious, very comfortable and our daughter appreciated having her own room. Good aircon and hot water. We had a kitchen too with a stovetop and basic cooking utensils. Especially loved the outdoor area with dining table, hammock and pull down shades. So nice!
We weren’t in Langkawi to do a lot of activities, so the location wasn’t a problem for us. We went out one night for dinner and took a day-trip to Pulau Payar, and relaxed at the villa the rest of our time. Nice pool. They recommend having your own transportation, but we managed fine by taking Grab rides and ordering Grab food. You might need to plan a bit and schedule Grab rides ahead of time from the villa so you don’t have to wait a long time.
Would highly recommend for peaceful, quiet relaxation and comfortable, beautiful environment."
"The pictures don’t do it justice you look out over the rice paddies and it’s breathtaking. You see eagles flying around and we saw Colugos flying tree to tree right by the pool. It is something very unique and beautiful. The homes are authentic and amazing but just know some are old and kept amazingly with upkeep but it does get humid in them even with AC but this is Malaysia. "

Directly by the sea (no possibility to swim). Infinity pool (almost nobody there). Very friendly staff.
