"The room was great as was the location for what I needed. No possible early check in and the breakfast were disappointing."

"The GLAD Mapo Hotel does not have air conditioning, they only have central heat. We were informed of this upon checking in by the front deck staff. She said if the room gets hot we can open the windows. They later provided us with a fan to help move the air in our room. Daily high in Taipei when we were staying there was around 75 degrees F, the room already felt warm. At this day and age, no AC is unacceptable especially at the price of about $250 US per night I paid. It was not explicitly make known about no AC in this hotel when booking. Definitely will not stay there again."

"Exceptional stay, staff very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed amenities of laundry and beverage bar in lobby. Our room was extremely comfortable, more than enough room for our family of 4. Highly recommend, will stay next time we are visiting."

"Location was good as close to public transport, convenience stores, retail shops & food options. Only downside was foyer was taken up by luggage every day so it was detracting when you were leaving & returning each day I was there. Staff were present but limited engagement. I didn’t try the breakfast so unable to comment on this aspect. I couldn’t work out the heating & cooling in the room and just turned it off."

"i came to Korea for the first time and was staying by myself at this hotel. it was a fantastic location - lots of things around me - and i felt very safe. the property and room was super clean and the staff were really friendly. I love the mini kitchenette in my room and the washer and dryer was my selling point!! AND THEN I SAW A LG STYLER IN MY ROOM i love it so much and used it so much to sanitize my clothes every day. thank you for providing me a great stay and great first experience in Korea. I will definitely be back! "

"Seemed very new and clean. Nice area near the parliament and only 15 mins walk to the financial district and lovely Central Park. Amazingly comfortable bed and good sized room. Apart from front desk little English spoken. Recommended though and would definitely return. "
