"Lobby and room were clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. Just one “off” comment - there was a noisy steam(?) line close to my room that slowed getting to sleep. Room, parking and breakfast were separate charges."

"This is the concert hotel for us! Moda Center just a few blocks away which makes it easy. Wish they wouldn't crush you on parking fees if you're staying there in the hotel. Only other downside is no microwaves in the rooms. Other than that its great! Clean rooms and friendly staff. "

"The hotel is lovely, the area is a little rough. Cleaning is done on demand, so it won’t just be done. There was also an additional nightly fee we weren’t aware of. But inside the hotel is super cool and funky, friendly staff."

"The room here was very nice and clean and we liked being able to sit in the beautiful library section of the lobby while doing some computer work during our stay. The parking garage was also conveniently located and there were lots of options for cute coffee shops nearby. "

"The front desk at check in was friendly but he almost forgot to give us our key card and when we asked for pillows to be sent up it didn't show up and we had to call the next day to ask again "

"It was clean and comfortable.. I should have a booked a little larger room for the two of us besides the single king. Getting ready for an event with one vanity was not ideal, but expected for the awesome rate I got. Great staff, great bar and just a good weekend. "

"The hotel was super nice! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. For my wife and I, the Grand Stark has supplanted another 'hip' hotel in Portland (on Stark across the water in the Pearl) as our go-to when we visit Portland. We love that we can walk to excellent restaurants, bars, and music venues from the Grand Stark. An on-site restaurant/bar is a must, and the Little Bitter Bar (serves food from the Grand Amari) was perfect. We will definitely be back."
