「This elegant transformation of a former Masonic temple was a real surprise since the photos on Expedia looked as if taken at a Holiday Inn. 「40 years ago, someone told me this was the best place to stay in Newport. I finally got here. It is a1700s house, well preserved and reflective of the period. There is a newer wing, but we stayed in the original house. Great atmosphere. We were served wonderful breakfasts, and delicious afternoon tea, all included in the roommate. For a unique experience, try it.」

「Great views, great location and incredibly well trained and friendly personnel , both on the front desk, valet and restaurant. Room is super charming and well appointed. On the negative, although the room heater was off the residual heat coming from it did not allow me to shut off the AC which was not a big deal since it was quiet but still Also perhaps a bit pricey, it should include breakfast for that cost.」
