"Im 100% sure this was a scam. I booked this back on may 5th for july 10th-13th I get there i cant get in contact with the owner Lorraine Jacobs i called multiple times left voicemails she NEVER reached out to me. Got in contact with the property manager Derrick but he couldn't find my reservation. Its an apartment NOT a hotel. The person at the front desk said this isnt the 1st time this happned with the Lorraine Jacobs lady. I had to spend a extra $400+ dollars just to find somewhere else to stay for the time being. This was a major inconvenience to my trip. DO NOT BOOK THIS ITS A SCAM."

"There are many people outside of the building which is a locked building but the key is hard to use to open the door. The bar downstairs is super loud and you can’t open the windows because they are pLexi glassed shut. "

"Online, it looked pretty good. CLose to the convention center and equipped as a studio so I could keep food there and save money on restaurants. When I got there at 3:30 PM I found an apartment building with a locked door requiring a code to open. I did not have the code. Never received it. I found the phone number online and called it, got a message that gave me a different number to call. I called that number and got an automatic reply instructing me to leave a voice message. I left my message with name, number, reservation number. By 6pm I did not receive a call back so I was forced to get a room at the Sonesta at a much higher price. This busted my budget so I was not able to stay for the entire conference. I have put a block on my credit card."

"This booking is a SCAM! Do not waste your time. I made a reservation for my family to stay in the penthouse, to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrive at the building and front desk staff are unaware of any arrangements. I called the number for the “property owner” and get voicemail which directs me to call another number. That number goes to voicemail for a Ms. Jacobs, who then texts me “hello???” after I made several attempts to call her. I asked her about the booking and she was very dismissive, advising there were no more “move ins” for the night. Thank God for the agent at hotels.com for addressing the matter by issuing a refund. They couldn’t reach the property owner either."
