"Pool was not usable, had not been cleaned the day we got there; bugs and leaves/debris. "

"We stayed in March or 2024. The cabin was nice but the lake was very dry. No way to do any fishing or water related. I just wish they would have told us before the trip that the lake around them was bone dry and not at all what the pictures show. The staff was very friendly and we still had a great time. The tram ride is pretty cool. Rooms are what you would expect for a cabin made to house mountain bikers and off roaders. "

"I stayed at the Lonely Oak with my two teenage children. I had a few questions before my arrival, and the staff were quick to respond and very helpful. The space is beautifully decorated, and in a very quiet part of the countryside. It is close enough to Llano if we needed something, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. "We had a lovely, relaxing time. The house was well stocked with everything needed, switches and cabinets were nicely labeled, and coffee was provided which was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive to my questions, and kindly accommodated my late checkout request. The home is at the back of a cove, great for sticking our feet in, but the park with open swimming was only 5 minues away. Lots of deer, and it was fun to watch them play. Our family had a nice time."

"With covid there was nothing open except the hiking trails so we felt like there was nothing for us to do except go to the restraunt. We tried to go to the dock and fish after the sun went down since it was 110 degrees that day and a staff member came and told us no fishing after dark so at that time we knew there was not ANYTHING for us to do. When we booked no one told us that the canyon cruise didn’t start until Thursday or we would have waited and booked later in the week. This 2 night stay...
