「It's a beautiful place. You will have to drive if you want to explore the area. Just 10-15 minutes you can be in town. But the grounds and accomodations are worth the drive. 」

「The check in staff support process is lacking. The support is a call center outside the US. They are reading off a script and can't really help. It is the second time that when booking boutique or non known hotels from Expedia that the check in process is lacking and there is no support. I will be wiser in the future - twice bitten 」

「This place was wonderful. The breakfast was top notch, like a top tier restaurant. The host Don was so friendly and went above and beyond to make guest feel welcome. We had a wonderful time at breakfast with the other guests. We definitely plan on returning! I wish we had more than one night. There were beautiful Mountain View’s as well. 」

「The cabin is exactly as described. The Big Canoe community is SPECTACULAR, although the main pool shown in the Expedia photos was dirty and closed. However, the marina and the trails were open. Our only issue was that the cottage was delivered to us at 5:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM because they said it was being cleaned. When we entered at 5:00 PM, the cottage was still not clean. 「Caretaker Doreen was the bright spot of the experience. She was awesome and so personable. Felt like staying with an old friend. Beautiful area and lodge is cute from the outside. The rooms are each decorated differently. Not a negative, but motorcycle riders take note that the driveway is very steep and uneven in parts. Could be challenging depending on rider experience. 「Steps are very dangerous as I didn’t know the bottom landing was so dangerous especially for my mother. Thermostat upstairs wouldn’t come on as it looks like it is not attached properly. The place is beautiful outside but overall not for me. 」
