「The desk person who checked us in is terrific. She was extremely helpful and gave us great local dining options. In general the facility is very clean but starting to need some general replacement of things in high traffic areas like vinyl wallpaper. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The price of the room was very reasonable .」

「I’ve stayed here twice and it’s been wonderful both times. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are great, the area is very safe and it’s perfect for traveling with pets. Free breakfast, plenty of free parking, lobby bar open until 10. It’s a great spot. 」

「This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. 」

「Loved the hotel. So many good restaurants within walking distance. Only bad part was the mattress. It was so old and soft, it was very uncomfortable. 」
