"The owner canceled on us one hour before we were supposed to be there. The house was flea infested. We did get a full refund. But I had to book a hotel at short notice and nobody from hotels.com or the person that I rented from felt obligated to compensate the difference of the hotel room I had to book instead of the house I had set up rent. I spent many hours on the phone because I had to cancel through hotels.com and the company called Evolve. The people I talk to at evolve felt they were not...
