「The Cozy Afghan is in a beautiful, historic building in downtown St. Marys. The room was very clean and well appointed. There was a coffee shop and multiple restaurants within easy walking distance. We were in the area for elk viewing and the location was extremely convenient, less than a 30-minute drive from the Keystone Elk Country Visitor Center. 」

「We booked a room at a lovely property on the historical register. We arrived at 5pm to an empty reception desk, and a not which said we had to go around the side of the hotel to find our room. No door…. Tried to call the number on reception, no reply. Eventually someone turned up and told us we were not staying in the inn, as advertised, but in a house about a block away from the hotel. 「Loved our quick weekend stay at this beautiful B&B!! The owners have done a great job restoring the home and they were very welcoming and accommodating. Because of our schedule, we unfortunately could not enjoy the breakfast or dinner there at the B&B, but they made us some delicious breakfast sandwiches to go. 「Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests. The barn door for the bathroom was a nice touch. I'd recommend a latch or small hook as it did tend to open. Otherwise, it was clean and we loved that it was...
