Bradford is a lovely charming town and for a delicious meal in a real, old-style diner, go to Kennedy Diner on Kennedy Street, have breakfast clean and generous like your mama made you, AND get a chicken salad sandwich to-go for lunch (I got mine on a croissant)--the tastiest, perfect blend of chicken, finely chopped celery very easy on the mayo and dynamite spices, the best I've ever had all over the world. I also got a piece of strawberry cheesecake to-go (I copied a regular patron's order of the chicken salad and cheesecake--Marilyn I think was her name) that was the best ever: not a huge thick chuck of heart attack on a plate: a nice, shallow, medium piece of light, but satisfying DEElicious cheesecake--consistency like quiche--very nice! with REAL fresh strawberry 'sauce' smashed up strawberries on top. I could eat it in the car later and nearly turned the car around just to go spend another night in Bradford so I could have another day's meals at Kennedy Diner. Tell Terri and Penney I just LOVE them! Bradford is the home of Zippo Lighters and Case knives (museum open!). I will return, as I must go to Kennedy Diner again.
