「Our stay at Villa Bela Vista was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Portugal. From the moment we arrived, Eva and her sister Melicia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their hospitality was unbelievable — truly some of the best service we've ever experienced. One very helpful tip: the villa reserves two parking spots just up the street (look for cones on the left-hand side as you're driving in). If you miss the parking, you'll end up driving all the way up...

「Quinta Velha’s a gem tucked in Sintra’s hills, about a 10-minute walk from Pena Palace and the village center. It’s a small, upscale B&B on two hectares of forest, with a cool mix of old Portuguese charm and modern touches—think restored 1800s beams paired with sleek furniture. We stayed in one of the six suites, which felt cozy and private, like a boutique hideaway. The place was redone in 2019, so everything’s fresh but still has history. 「Extremely friendly staff and owner made us feel like family. We weren't expecting the room to be serviced after the first night on a two night stay, but it was, unasked, including setting up a drying rack for the clothes we had washed and hung the night before. Clean self-service kitchen. Very charming. 」
