"We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. Also make sure you stock up...

"24h service, warm accomodation with good parking, views and everything you need nearby. Highly recommended. Rent your own car to be more flexible in your adventure. Driving in winter also was not a problem at all. All roads are well maintained with good access to all the highlights around kuusamo and Ruka. Will book again."

"The location is so magical. We have never been to anywhere like this place. The customer service is truly the best! We sent an email about arriving late at night (reception closes at 11pm), they sent instructions about how to access our cabin, so check in was seamless. Reception also gave us a portable wifi connector when we mentioned we could not get wifi connection in our cabin. They went out of their way to pack our breakfast the night before we check out as we were leaving before breakfast...

"It was very nice to have a floor heating system in the toilet. Also the location is perfect if you are going to ski and snowboard! Friendly and helpful staff members! The bus connection to the airport worked well. Only thing we were missing, was a toaster and a spatula."

"We stayed 3 nights at the end of May 2023 and were there to participate in the NUTS Karhunkierros ultra Trail event. The apartment was cosy, clean and calm. The only thing the owner should consider is adding some light-blocking curtains to the bedrooms. There is no night in Ruka at this time of the year and it’s very difficult to get a good sleep in a bedroom with daylight conditions. Otherwise all good."

"We were unfortunate to visit Finland in an uncommon heat wave, which the hotel (and most finnish hotels as well) was not prepared to. We were resourceful and opened the big window which people usually only open to clean and that way we had tons of chilled air during the night. besides that, breakfast was simple yet tasty, generous and enough to satisfy your needs. the staff was helpful and friendly. the atmosphere is quiet and the view to the lake was astonishing! "Good location in the village close to slopes. Restaurant can be noisy in the weekends. No coffee maker in the room but you can use the lounge. Room could have more lights. "
